One Platform – Many Applications

The digital transformation of real-world spaces is advancing rapidly and the use of digital twins is becoming more widespread. Our technology creates opportunities ranging from simple visitor showcases to learning spaces, architecture, insurance, CAFM and smart industry. The extensions can be combined in many ways.

POIs with work instructions and facility management

Smart Industry / CAFM / Showcases

For medium-sized businesses, our solution offers tangible benefits and budget-friendly solutions with a concrete ROI (Return On Investment). Training, maintenance, fault scenarios and troubleshooting, can all be managed with little effort. Apprentices, employees, facility managers and external parties no longer need to ask questions, but can get the necessary information in the virtual twin.

The digital twin is the nerve centre of a business, where all information can be accessed. It no longer needs a folder system, but simply a 3D tour. All information can be found in the same place as it is in the real company.

The instructions for use are created within a very short time and the fun factor is great – for example as “step-by-step videos”, supplemented with text, available on all devices or via AR glasses from far and near.

Virtual Staging

Art / Museums / Events

Equip your virtual space with objects of your choice. Whether digitised “real world” objects or digitally created three-dimensional objects, the possibilities are almost unlimited. Furnish the offices of your new place of business, virtually optimise production processes in manufacturing plants, design your event location for the next occasion together with your customer, set up your gallery for the next exhibition or add an entire house to a landscape.

Virtualised Learning Processes

Education / Training

The 3D virtual learning space combines competence orientation, individualisation, digitalisation and sustainability. It is based on the principles of self-organised learning with the option of adding game-like elements (gamification). At the same time, learners are given a lot of freedom to train on their own responsibility. The approach has been shown to bring significant improvements in areas such as user motivation, learning success and ROI. The area of application ranges from employee training and customer retention to teaching and school education and can be integrated into existing eLearning systems via SCORM if required.

Real Estate and Venues

Sale / Rental / Presentation

The digitalisation of the real estate industry has accelerated enormously in recent years. The result is that agents and homeowners are gaining more capacity, closing deals faster and moving more people with less red tape.

AKROTONX Showcases are the premium solution for real estate modeling, individual presentation and virtual walktroughs. Virtual home tours provide an engaging, interactive user experience and can be accessed at any time without an appointment.

Point out interesting aspects with POIs at will. Let your visitors take measurements themselves in the virtual space. Export high-resolution images directly from the AX Workshop.

Outdoor Scanning VR/AR

Gardens / Golf / Towns / Archeology

Digital twins are not limited to indoor environments. Our groundbreaking camera with LiDAR takes millions of measurements in a wide range of lighting conditions. In both dim twilight and direct sunlight, the camera captures the environment in true colour and high resolution. The AI-controlled conversion into the 3D digital tour guarantees a detailed immersive experience.

From VR object to 3D model

Rennovation and Restoration

Digital twins are a cost-effective tool for renovation and restoration projects. On the one hand, the scan documents the actual condition before the work begins, and on the other hand, it can be used to generate detailed floor plans and 3D models that are accurate to the millimeter without having to hire expensive draftsmen. The work process and documentation process is simplified considerably on several levels.

3D Lidar Laser Scanning

Architecture in the Milimeter Range

Digitization has fully taken hold in planning. 3D building models are a central aspect of this. Existing buildings are captured with Lidar scanners. The “data point cloud” is then used to construct the 3D BIM model, which is accurate to the millimeter, and is then prepared for further use. In addition, a virtual tour is available afterwards, in addition to exact 3D and 2D, where all specialists involved in the construction or conversion can orient themselves at any time, carry out measurements and exchange information.
