Architecture in the Milimeter Range
Digitization has fully taken hold in planning. 3D building models are a central aspect of this. Existing buildings are captured with Lidar scanners. The “data point cloud” is then used to construct the 3D BIM model, which is accurate to the millimeter, and is then prepared for further use. In addition, a virtual tour is available afterwards, in addition to exact 3D and 2D, where all specialists involved in the construction or conversion can orient themselves at any time, carry out measurements and exchange information.
